About:

Stay Open.

What you find below are the results of bringing together York's photography with my illustration work.
York wanted to see a concept that is atypical for fashion illustration, playful and experimental - to create an interesting and fresh tension between the images and the additional elements. The challenge here was to preserve the initial mood of the images, so the photos themselves were barely touched and illustrative
elements carefully applied to find just the right balance.

Don't look into the Abyss
A piece from my 2010 Archive, playing with the psychological irony of avoiding what may be temporarily perceived as being frightening, negative or unknown.

Contemplative Works : Part I
“I am looking at everything from a more remote and primordial point of creation, where I presuppose certain formulas for man, animal, plant, rock and earth, fire, water, air, for all moving forces at once. A thousand questions are silenced, as if they were answered. Neither teaching nor heresy exist here. The possibilities are too infinite, only the belief in them lives creatively inside myself.” (Paul Klee)
